£4.00 per class (£7.00 per class on the day)

IN-HAND CLASSES

Rosette to highest placed yearling in each in-hand class. Classes may be split if sufficient entries. See rules about ages of handlers/riders and stallions.

Class 1Best Turned Out - any age, any sex.
Class 2Best Condition - any age, any sex. NOW FULL
Class 3Best Movement - any age, any sex. NOW FULL
Class 4Best Combination - any age, any sex. Will be judged compatibility of horse/pony and handler, presentation and overall picture. NOW FULL
Class 5Best Solid Colour - Any age, any sex. Will be split by colour if sufficient entries. Judged 80% on colour and 20% on conformation. NOW FULL
Class 6Best Broken Colour - any age, any sex. Will be split by colour if sufficient entries. Judged 80% on colour and 20% on conformation.
Class 7Youngstock - 3 years and under, any sex. NOW FULL
Class 8Junior Handler - 21 years and under. Mares or Geldings only, any age. Judged on handler's ability. The pony will not be judged.
Class 9Mountain & Moorlands - any age, any sex. Including registered and unregistered pure-bred and part-bred ponies.
Class 10Non-Mountain & Moorlands - any age, any sex. Will be split if sufficient entries.

IN-HAND CHAMPIONSHIP





RIDDEN CLASSES

Class 11Best Turned Out - may be led.
Class 12Best Combination - may be led. Will be judged on compatibility of horse/pony and rider, presentation and overall picture.
Class 13Best Rider - may be led. May be split lead rein and non-lead rein if sufficient entries. Will be judged on rider's ability and not the horse.
Class 14Lead Rein/First Ridden Pony - Judged on the pony - performance, manners and suitability.
Class 15Best Riding Pony - Judged on the pony - performance, manners and suitability. May be led.
Class 16Mountain & Moorlands - including registered and unregistered pure-bred and part-bred ponies/horses. May be led.
Class 17Best Riding Horse - Judged on manners and conformation. May be led.
